Trasna Na Líne [art is what we are]
The Arts! This is the common denominator for all theatre companies involved in the network Crossing The Line. Our companies are artistically led, professional theatres and at the same time committed to meeting the challenges of producing, playing and touring theatre performed by artists that are disabled and non-disabled. Trasna Na Líne (TNL) is a partnership project co-funded by the Creative Europe programme, driven by the CTL partners from Sweden, France, Ireland, The Netherlands and Poland.
About us & our Partners [it's a network!]
Crossing The Line is a network of six European theatre companies: all leaders in the field of working with learning disabled artists. The partners are Moomsteatern in Sweden, Compagnie de L’Oiseau Mouche in France, Mind The Gap in UK, Blue Teapot Theatre Company in Ireland, Theater Babel Rotterdam in Holland and Teatr 21 in Poland.
Ogmius [teach, learn, support]
Compagnie de l’Oiseau-Mouche from Roubaix in France, Mind The Gap from Bradford in United Kingdom and Moomsteatern from Malmö in Sweden has joined together in the collaboration Ogmius, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. Ogmius aims to mobilise and document the material that emerges in collaboration between these theatres, and to make it useful for other organisations.
Crossing the Line Festival [join us]
The first Crossing the Line Festival was brought together by Moomsteatern, Compagnie de l’Oiseau Mouche and Mind The Gap in Roubaix, France, in 2017. The second edition of the festival was to be hosted by Blue Teapot Theatre Company in Galway, Ireland, in 2020, as part of the European Capital of Culture (ECOC). Due to the pandemic the festival had to be cancelled just weeks before the opening and instead became a digital online theatre festival. The Crossing the Line partnership is now planning for the next edition of the Crossing the Line Festival!
